Note
(Please note that the first 10 issues do not reflect the art quality of the whole comic. I had to start out somewhere and by #13 things look much better!)
Here we go. I've since remastered this issue but I could only do so much without doing a major overhaul since the layers are so messed up. I've fixed some rough edges, horrible eyes and poor colouring.
Ahem for those new to the comic, the story follows Mark from the Western Empire (blue/dark grey in greyscale comics). Presently an alliance has been formed with the small nation of Novatal (red) to defend against an invasion by migrating tribesmen.
"bows and arrows against the lighting" is a quote quietly borrowed from the War of the Worlds..

That's an interesting point, I never really thought about the deeper meaning. I don't intentionally mean the comic to be anti or pro war. To be honest, the quote can be interpreted both ways and Mark's thoughts reflect the confusion.
