I used Photoshop CS3 for this instead of the usual palaeozoic 5.5. It is better for smooth lineart but more awkward for airbrushing and text editing. It won't let me use italics for my komika text font, so I had to improvise.
It is a habit that I listen to the War of the Worlds while making comics these days. So if I go off on a musical tangent, forgive me hehe.

blam blam blam. Yeah i noticed the smooth lineart. I like the little details of the people in the back thats nice.

My lineart has never been perfect since I always do stuff manually (i.e. not with the mysterious pen tool) but here things turned out better.
Hmm I feel bad for just drawing Valorians being killed off- the tone/pace might chance shortly.

Bleh, pen tool. I use the brush for inking/drawing too, even though it makes my drawings look a little unprofessional. :\
Oh, by the way, panel 4 is awesome.
