Phew finally an update.
The story was that my tablet got all jittery and tricky to control. Then my monitor died. I got a replacement widescreen which also seemed to fix the tablet, but there are still a few issues with the A5 tablet area mapping onto a different screen proportion. Plus a few things in photoshop need recalibrating. That explains the lateness and any dodgy line work out there.
As for the comic- I guess this is the obligatory post battle depression issue.
Favourite part? Mark having a nice stretch and Tennent's hat on his bayonet. Its the little touches, and I've learned a lot since the first "peacetime" issues.

Those do add touches. Im not realy one to say because my main focus is sprite comics. But I beleive that those "little touches" as you call them realy make up a true artist. The human eyes take in all the detail before our brains can fathum it and it makes it true art.

I agree, it's all about setting the scene. It makes me feel a bit sad for other well drawn comics when they focus 100% on great character art but neglect putting the same effort into backgrounds. (Hehe though mine are far from perfect :P)
Thanks for the comment!
